UAB Hospital has implemented a Nursing Practice Congress to address clinical practice issues through a dynamic process that promotes collaboration, shared decidion making, ownership and accountability. The Nursing Practice Congress consists of 35 voting members who were eleceted by the nursing staff through an electronic ballot process. The members include 31 staff nurses, 2 nurse educators, 1 manager and 1 director. Learn More.
